So it seems in Thailand, that 7-Eleven franchises are almost if not even more common than they are in the San Jose State Area. That’s impressive. Within a 5 minute walk from the SJSU campus, you can get to 4 unique 7-11s… and I thought that was market saturation.
Well it seems in Thailand, they are like Starbucks in America. They are EVERYWHERE. Check out the picture to the left, you can see at the end of the disturbingly ugly ms-paint arrows… yeah I haven’t reinstalled Photoshop… sue me…. That there are two 7-Elevens directly across the street from one another.
According to Wikipedia, there are 3,700 7-Elevens here. 1,000 alone in Bangkok.
Last time I was in one… I tried to get a Slurpee but it was too early in the morning and it had not iced up yet. I will report back my findings once I try one of the best inventions ever created by man… the Slurpee… but Thai style.
